Zamzom Parental Control 01.01.01

The Internet is full of harmful content and you can never know what your children may access if left unattended. They cannot be supervised all the time, but when they are using a computer, at least you can control what they can or cannot do using software like Zamzom Parental Control. It is very easy to use and it can block web sites of your choosing and monitor some of the activity on a computer.

Zamzom Parental Control is free and you can download it fast, even with a slow Internet connection. The setup file is only 721 Kb large and the installation process is straightforward. There are no settings or adjustments to be made while navigating through the setup wizard and you can have it up and running on most Windows versions.

All functions can be enabled or disabled from the program's main window. There are no separate settings panels to access and no complex options which may slow you down. The core features can be enabled by clicking the check boxes in the upper left corner of the window. When activated, the program can take screenshots every few minutes, monitor the files and web sites that have been accessed and create logs. The created logs can be viewed in separate boxes in the middle area of the interface.

It is also possible to block web sites. Clicking the designated check box, in the upper left corner, will bring up a new window, where you can type or paste the URLs of the sites you want blocked. Zamzom Parental Control can be set to launch automatically at system startup. It will run as a system tray icon and it can only be accessed with the correct password.

Pros:
The interface is very simple, but effective, being accessible even to parents who don't know much about computers. Zamzom Parental Control can be downloaded and installed fast and it is 100% free.

Cons:
The interface's simplicity can be a drawback as well. Some users may expect more.

Zamzom Parental Control can log the activity on a computer with easy to understand and straightforward options. Even a beginner can make use of its features.
